Three Bridges Cruise
Relax onboard with friends and family and listen to the guided commentary while you enjoy a beverage or snack from the bar. Take in the spectacular views of the Three Bridges, the beautiful panoramas of the Edinburgh skyline to the south and the Kingdom of Fife to the north, the island of Inchcolm with its medieval abbey, and the islands of Inchgarvie, Inchkeith, and Inchmickery.
Optional landing at Inchcolm Island
Combine your 90 minute sightseeing cruise with a landing on Inchcolm Island. You should add a minimum 1½ hours when landing on Inchcolm Island. Explore the island’s historic Abbey – The ‘Iona of the east’ one of the best-preserved group of monastic buildings in Scotland. The Island is also a haven for wildlife and is well-known for its wartime coastal defences.
Please note that the last sailing of the day does NOT allow for a stopover on Inchcolm Island. We only stop at Inchcolm on the final sailing to collect passengers. Inchcolm Island is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Take in views of the Three Bridges as you have never seen them before. View Blackness Castle (as featured in Outlander and Outlaw King) and known as the ship that never sails. We pass Limekilns village, as mentioned in Robert Louis Stevenson’s Kidnapped. It was from Limekilns that David Balfour and Alan Breck were carried across the Forth in a rowing boat. During your tour you will find plenty of opportunities to see a variety of marine wildlife including seals.

The Three Bridges Cruise departs from Hawes Pier, South Queensferry unless otherwise stated in our timetable. The Blackness Castle, Three Bridges Cruise (including complimentary cream tea) departs from Port Edgar Marina. From 1 November 2019 to 29 March 2020, this cruise departs from Hawes Pier, south Queensferry. Check our web site for departure times and departure point for your cruise. All tours and cruises are subject to weather conditions at the time of sailing. The skippers decision is final. In the event of a cruise cancellation an alternative sailing date and time will be offered within the dates of the offer. We cannot offer a refund. All cancellations must be received in writing to . Telephone cancellations are not accepted. The boat is scheduled to depart at the stated time. No refund will be made to passengers who miss their sailing time. Dogs are welcome on the Three Bridges Cruise. There is a charge of £1 per dog. Children age 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a full paying adult.
